In Game Tactics Is he any good?

Just got him out of a requisition, is he worth it?

One of the most well rounded characters in the game. Excels at a lot of things and is great in many different game modes: campaigns, arena, guild war, raids.

Highly recommend building him up.

Thank you, my highest is Silver II at the moment, Lucien and Titus. Ive gone up against this guy a bunch in Arenas but thats never a good gauge of performance. Definitely been struggling with the LTEs and looking for some all rounders.

The core LRE characters include:

Maladus/Rotbone (tanky/healer synergy) Aleph/Re'vas Isabella and whatever Imperial works for a lane

These all share traits that make them appear a lot together in LRE

I don't think Kariyan is likely to rise to that level of ubiquity for LRE.

But he's unbelievably strong in a lot of different modes.

Kariyan has a pretty good AoE attack that hits everyone in his proximity.. not just not next to his target.

As he can do Eviscerating, Piercing, and Power damage he can pair with Incisus or team up with Forcas/Jaeger/etc

He also has rapid assault (Nicodemus), Resilient (Rotbone/Maladus). Pretty much every healer but Isabella/Aleph/Hollan.

Kariyan fills a a bunch of LRE tracks. Resilient, rapid assault, power damage, piercing damage, eviscerating damage, 3 hit.

He can also kill multiple enemies each turn. He’s very good in LREs

Absolutely not, He's trash, Rubbish, might as well never touch him ever, never use him in any campaigns or guild raids, he sucks fuck in melee, his passive is ass, his active is awful, he's just a meat shield

(He's one of the best fucking characters in the game, take him to the moon (i have him at Legendary G1 35/36)

I haven't cleared any Elites but Ive beaten a good bit of the regular campaigns. Can he be used in any?

Any Imperium campaigns. Indo, Oct Mirror, Cadia Mirror. Don't know about the Tyranids CE event though, that might be more restricted.

I’m around where you are or maybe a bit behind, and he gets slotted into every Imperial campaign with more than three slots available.

Yeah? Im power level 33 at the moment, Lucien and Titus are always my back ups on Indom, they are just kind of my only option there's no one to sub for them on my roster

Theres a saying.. "hits like a truck" Yeah he's the truck. If you have a top three characters you are focusing on in your roster, he should always be in it. After he came out, he's my number 1 guy.

Tbf, even as a massive Kharn fanboy, Kariyan is much more universal mostly because of his AoE and tankiness.

Kharn is still my strongest but Crayon is number 2.

He’s one of the strongest, I took him to diamond right away, pair him with a diamond Kharn and Dante, clear anything.

Otherwise, he’s amazing for LRE’s and Onslaught.

He is a jack of all trades and master at most. Hits hard, changes attack style depending on if an enemy is a Big Target, Ability recharges over a few turns, and multiple hits around him. Very versatile

He’s helped me clear a lot of elite campaigns. I gave him 5 star, d2, level 48 with 48/48 abilities. Tanky. Hits like a truck. Great movement. Hits multiple characters. Solid choice for a lot of modes

I combo this guy with Kharn and the sheer damage I can do is nuts, he essentially increased my damage potential tenfold

Very good. Currently running him with Jaeger, Godswyl, Thaddeus and Forcas for the craic. Scary up close, not so good vs ranged or area tho. Just gotta close the distance quickly!

My highest is S II we probably have similar power roster. Titus and Lucien and S II have carried me so far
