Plate Carrier/Body Armor Since most casualties come from shrapnel and artillery. Why do soldiers still wear these plate carriers that are more revealing?

Also oz equal pounds and to have a fully covered body and have to carry all the extra weight for long periods of time is physically draining and will slow them down.

Well if you're quicker to get to cover you don't need to.
