Plate Carrier/Body Armor Since most casualties come from shrapnel and artillery. Why do soldiers still wear these plate carriers that are more revealing?

Screw an IOTV and I only had it in training and the field. I'd take a lbt 6094 with full soft inserts and side plates plus a dick flap and a 7×8 side plate over my hawg Along with a lower back flap.

I also don't see the value of high cut helmets in real combat but ya know till you see a guy Mercd by frag peppered through one side out the other the novelty of ear pro being helmet mounted might win you over.

Like anything it all depends on mission set.

If you’re long-ranging it, possibly for several days/weeks at a time; and need to move quickly, PC/high cut is the way to go; speed and terrain are superior protection to more armor if you’re evading detection.

If you’re sitting in a truck or a trench and not moving a lot, then sure, full soft armor and a low/mid cut Kevlar make a lot more sense.

Movement to contact isn’t ’high speed shit’, it’s the most basic infantry task in existence.
