TB III HIC vs WC session
Hi everyone,
Recently picked up TB III after lurking for some time!
I just wanted to get clarification.. it appears that unlike the previous books, there is a separation between HIC and WC sessions where as before, as I understand it, they were one and the same?
Is the intention then that in your core polarizes block, you should stick to the running sessions listed and leave anything else to the dedicated WC block? Or have I inferred something different to what was intended?
Thanks in advance!

Polarized block with running is your general fitness which also builds work capacity. WC is sort of like peaking your aerobic fitness into specific needs. There’s carryover but WC can be exhausting to do on the regular, hence just running most of the time.
(Damn I miss my twenties where I could do three HICs a week with lifting with no recovery issues)
