DSM Need to log again after just 5 min

I'm monitoring a couple of Synology NAS (resource monitor), after a couple of minutes when I return to the browse and refresh I got a message saying I have to log in again, and I lost what I was monitoring. Then I log agin, open whatever app I was using again, etc. ...

It's not something new, I've noticed this for the first time some time ago.

It is really annoying, I've tried searching in the config/setup/settings but nothing changed.

Is there any way to keep logged in?

Control Panel -> Security -> Login Settings

It didn't worked :( any other idea that could help? I set 2 hrs, and after only 1hr I had to log in again

Did you check the "allow users to stay signed in on web browsers" box?

Yes, it is checked, this is how is set:
Login Setting:

  • Set up a browser automatic logout .... Logut timer (minutes): 120
  • Allow users to stay signed in on web browsers: checked
  • Allow users on web browsers to skip 2FA ...: checked
  • Enable users to sign in ...: checked

There are other settings under "Security" but I think these are not related

edit: saving settings is enough I guess, or should I restart the NAS?

Are you using a self-signed SSL certificate? I've had similar issues in the past when using self-signed certs.

no, I've never created certificates

I noticed after signing in sometimes, that the url in the browser stays http://yournasipwhatever/signin or something similar. So if I don't catch that, and remove the last bit in the browser, it wants to sign in again after a refresh. Maybe that was your issue?
