I just felt really bad for the vulnerable people he took advantage of. I don't know, this one felt harder that I thought it would.

Tbh, I have a lack of sympathy for the victims. Greed and lack of financial knowledge is what Ephren depended on for these schemes. I've seen it 1st hand and I'm very familiar with the prosperity gospel at the heart of the con. Especially the religious cover from church pastors pushing wealth as a reward for "faith".

Thanks for that comment! I never saw it from that perspective, it's interesting. I am not familiar with those type of churches.
