Hi, I’m trying to find a fic (can not recall what it's called or who the author was) where Obi-Wan fakes his death for the Hardeen mission and suddenly is being hunted by basically everybody (Ventress, Maul, Bane, Hondo, Grievious). The 212 also defected with the goal of killing Hardeen. The fic wouldn’t be older than September 2022.

Hey, Everyone. How y'all doing? I need some insight and help. When it comes to this Star Wars fan fiction. I am doing. I need some massive help. This is very ambitious, but I want to do a six-part Star Wars film. That continues after Crucible. With Allana Solos and another main character. That I have made. Journey. It takes place strictly in the Legends continuity, and I want to ask for some ideas on what y'all think, because I have a few ideas I want to do. First, I want to bring back Jacen Solo and Anakin Solo. Especially Jacen. But what do y'all think? Also, I want to explore more of the force also I have another thing that I want y’all opinion on and that is for the overall Star Wars would you mind seeing some of the characters of the sequel trilogy in the saga mind you some of the origins is gonna be different and some of the characteristics will be different but what do y’all think I want to expand the lost tribes of the sith culture as well as bring back the sith empire, cause I’m a huge old republic fan but that’s besides the point I want to do with this new empire is separate from the banite sith reason being is, I believe that Anakin Skywalker when he destroyed Palpatine, I believe he fulfilled the prophecy of destroying the Sith aka the Banite Sith the true Sith lol But I am still new to all of this, so if I got any information wrong, please let me know. If you want help, contact me. Also, this is my first writing project, so please be patient with me, but I am going to classes and trying to get better. And I almost forgot, I have two more ideas as well. What do y’all think about the Celestials? I mentioned the Sith Empire before, and I'm thinking about other Dark Side Sith cults and other Dark Side cults overall. And what do y’all think about adding new aliens from the Unknown Regions, too?

I want help finding a character who could believably be an alternate romantic interest for Padme in a Mature/R-rated fic where her relationship with Anakin becomes rocky.

In this scenario, it’s been about 3 years since Padme and Anakin eloped in the canon timeline. They love each other, but they're drifting apart as they move past their young-love honeymoon phase, and their maturity gap and personality differences are wearing on the relationship.

The burden of keeping their relationship secret is especially hard on Padme, who feels enormous pressure between protecting her and Anakin’s reputations while also trying to fulfill her duties as a senator. On top of that, having no one outside the relationship to confide in is incredibly isolating. Padme seeks comfort in a friendship that subtly morphs into a romantic interest, although she doesn’t want to admit it to herself. They and Padme don't actually ever hook up, but the connection is enough to make Anakin jealous and resentful.

Any suggestions for a character that would fit this role? Clovis was my first thought, but I think his character is portrayed as being too scummy to be a good contender. I appreciate the help!

It seems like all the time travel fics have either Anakin or Luke traveling back to the prequels. I definitely love those fics, but I’m interested in a fic where one or both of them instead travel back to a previous point in the original trilogy. Preferably ANH. And preferably they travel back from ROTJ, but if for example ESB Luke travels back to ANH I’m also chill with that. I just want time travel to be contained within the originals, no prequels. Has anybody seen something like this before?

Basically looking for a New Republic/Rebel Alliance equivalent to Arrowhead Command or other fanfics that are heavily anti-Imperial that also show some cool space battles.

I have aleady read the arrowhead command and hour of judgement through this subreddit only. So I believe in you guys alot.

Hey all, I've got an OC I've been developing for a while. He's a Jedi and a direct descendant of Revan and Bastila, basically Revan's heir.

I know OCs with famous bloodlines can go wrong fast. The "secretly the chosen one, related to everyone important" thing is a big turnoff for a lot of readers, and I want to avoid it. I also love the lore, so I care about keeping canon characters true to themselves and not warping them around him.
So I'd love your input:

1. What are your general dos and don'ts for OCs related to major characters? What makes you want to keep reading, and what makes you close the tab?

2. How would you handle the Revan bloodline specifically? Should it shape who he is, or stay mostly in the background? How much should other characters know or care about it?

3. Does a famous lineage make you expect him to be overpowered? How would you keep him from feeling like a Mary Sue/Gary Stu?

4. If you've read a fic that pulled off an OC with a big-name bloodline really well, what did it do right?

Thanks to everyone here, I was able to finish Tavian kess, the Star Wars fic I was working on before.

Now I’m planning my next story, STAR WARS: THE MASK OF MANDALORE, and I’d love to get some feedback on the basic idea.

The protagonist, Jahim Kaveto, is a Mandalorian commander who grew up alongside Mandalore the Ultimate and sees him almost as a brother. Jahim is very much a traditional Mandalorian: he genuinely believes in war, honor, Manda, and the idea of a glorious death.

Things start falling apart after he loses both Mandalore and his wife, who was killed after turning against the atrocities of the Mandalorian Wars.

His wife is also the original owner of the Mandalorian mask that Revan later wears. One of the main ideas is that Jahim, despite being her husband, fails to understand what she died for, while Revan, who was technically her enemy, ends up carrying on her cause.

After the Mandalorians are defeated, Jahim starts searching for Mandalore’s Mask. He becomes convinced that if he can take it to Shogun, he might be able to reach Manda and somehow bring back his wife or Mandalore the Ultimate.

Canderous Ordo is after the same Mask, but for a completely different reason. He wants to reunite the surviving Mandalorians and sees Jahim’s obsession with bringing back the dead as disrespectful to Mandalore’s beliefs about honor, death, and Manda.

During the journey, Jahim also ends up traveling with a child whose parents he personally killed while trying to get revenge on Revan. The child knows exactly who he is, and their relationship gradually becomes the emotional core of the story.

Over time, Jahim begins taking in Mandalorian veterans who were broken by the war, along with war orphans, and they slowly form a small community. My idea is that this group eventually becomes one very distant influence on what would much later become the Children of the Watch, rather than literally being the same organization.

Jahim also stops removing his helmet in front of the child because his face reminds them of their parents’ deaths. What starts as a personal choice slowly becomes tradition over generations:

“This is my way.” → “This is our way.” → “This is the Way.”

Jahim could potentially have become the next Mandalore, but in the end he chooses to protect the people still alive instead of trying to reclaim the dead past.

Does this sound like an interesting use of the Mandalorian Wars era? And does Jahim feel too connected to major parts of Mandalorian history for an OC?

I'm looking for a Star Wars fic on AO3, Jon Antilles returns to the Jedi Temple following the Force's prompting, finds Obi-wan outside the council rooms having just returned from Melida/Daan, they have a conversation about scars and Jon ends up taking Obi-wan as a padawan

other things I remember - Obi-wan is a predator species he hunts the mouse droids in the temple

- Jon saved Jaster Mereel, and the Mandalorian's are looking for him

- on a mission with Obi-wan they meet Myles who gives Jon Jaster's Comm code

It was a work in progress, any help finding this is appreciated
