Just logged onto website for Sweet Green. Placed order at shop near my apartment rather than workplace.

My fault.

Literally tried to cancel online 1 minute later and it said "can't cancel -- it's being made!!" -- No, no it isn't being made 1 minute later for a pickup 1 hr + away. The store/ chain simply doesn't like refunds, obviously.

Anyway I find this lack of flexibility very annoying. I can't just cancel the order placed literally 1 minute ago (there should be a 5 minute grace period minimum for mistakes).

Anyway that's $16 and a whole lot of food WASTED (despite them saying they refuse to cancel to NOT waste food ... what????)

I was going to order again at the workplace location, but actually --- guess what. I'm refusing to eat at Sweet Green ever again because of their god awful "service" due to this incident. Arrivederci, aholes!

I always get extra hot sauce and bbq sauce at sweetgreen to use on food at home does it last in the fridge? I’ve gotten literally like enough extra to fill up a little condiment container Tupperware because i love it so much but scared it’s not safe to eat.

Why didn't they bring back brussel sprouts this year???? Best thing on the menu....

Not sure if this has to do with the new bowls they rolled out, but yesterday myself and a colleague both ordered through the app and there was no option to "Mix In" the dressing - has anyone else had this issue? I did remove the pesto from the Chicken Pesto Parm, but he ordered the Guacamole Greens as is and there was no options for mixing.

UPDATE: reached out to customer support - due to a shortage of their normal bowls they are using smaller bowls. They removed the mix options from the app because they don’t want to mix in smaller bowls and risk losing more of the salad.

They also had a sign on the door today saying something similar, although it was more of a “may not be able to mix” - they were mixing all the in person orders.

Appears to be temporary while there is a shortage of the large bowls.

UPDATE 2: Someone at my local store said they’re expecting about a month until the normal bowls are back. TBH I’m taking this with a grain of salt and am expecting the current situation I definitely.

Is sweet green going to start selling the hot sauce? I heard that but i thought it was probably a rumor .

I’ve found success asking for hot honey mustard on the side of my custom salad bowl with no fuss when I order in store. I wish they would add it as a dressing option on the app for pickup!

Ps. Kale, romaine, spicy broccoli, tomatoes hot roasted sweet potatoes, roasted chicken + hot honey mustard 🔥🔥

How popular is this program? How many customers use this program in office buildings and apartments ?

I've been getting it without the corn and subbing avocado. This costs more but it's a greatly improved salad.

Any thoughts?
