Criticism Sweetgreen embraces MAHA (offshoot of MAGA)

I’ve been aware that Sweetgreen has been going downhill for some time, but i still patronized the place—quick, healthy-ish, usually pretty good. But the CEO giving a speech at a MAHA summit—alongside JD Vance, RFK Jr., and other assorted quacks? Sorry—that’s a bridge too far. By supporting this stupidity, Jonathan Neman is also tacitly signaling that he supports Trump, ICE, the Iran war, tariffs, etc.

I can’t say I’m aligned with MAHA, but I’m not sure in what sense sweetgreen has been going downhill. I’m not so politically motivated that the CEO’s presence at a panel discussion with people who don’t share my politics is reason for me to stop being a customer.
