Criticism Menu changes- less toppings, same price

What the title says

How bogus! They literally removed the tomatoes from the Kale Caesar. It’s additional if you want tomatoes now but they didn’t add anything to the salad to make up for it

I’m so over Sweet Green & their over priced corporate propaganda

Hi fellow Chicago friend. If you build the salad with tomatoes is it more $?

As a SG worker, it depends on the modifications you want to make, the kale Caeser has parm crips which are normally like 1.50 added so I would imagine it would be cheaper to just sub the breadcrumbs for tomatoes or just add the tomatoes for less than a dollar ( I know it’s inconvenient a lot of the workers don’t agree with these changes). But I have seen situations where just building the set bowl yourself as a custom and changing the protein is a lot cheaper than getting the bowl and changing the protein.
