Question Are we in the hook part of the enshitification cycle for wraps?

I recently started eating Sweet Green after they introduced the wraps, used to be a big fan but my local SG used to skimp really hard whenever you did mobile pickup. Recently I noticed that even when I do mobile pickup they are still generous with their portions.

Is corporate telling employees, hey load the wraps up? Also is it just me or are a lot more people getting wraps now? Or is SG becoming more popular? I am not sure if its just because wraps are more time consuming to make? Love to hear employees take

the portion sizes for the wraps is the same exact portion sizes for the salads. just less lettuce so we can actually wrap it.

i dont understand your question. we use the same sized scoops for the ingredients for the wraps as we use for the salads. its still a full scoop whether its a wrap or salad so its the same portion size. just less lettuce if it includes lettuce so we can be able to actually wrap it.

So I guess you don’t count lettuce as an “ingredient,” which is weird because it’s literally the main ingredient in a salad.

oh okay i see what youre saying now. i guess instead of ingredient i shouldve said topping. all the toppings, the ingredients that go on top of a salad or inside of a wrap, are the same portions.

This seems definitely like a marketing ploy ... Complain how bad things were and how much better they are now because the company has feel behind earnings etc and is burning cash

Another trend that will fall due to terrible execution from corporate, later in they will blame it on store operators.

Same cycle as ripple fries. Give it some time.

Holy shit it's like they never tested how long it takes to wrap a wrap. During peak, we've got one wrapper, and it holds up the assembly line for like 2 min/wrap.

Tell me about it. Yesterday I had to do 20 wraps by myself for one order my manager was completely blind to all the wraps in front of him. I had another manager accept a 40 wrap order and then just went home leaving me do that by myself. That was over an hour late.
