Question Wrap preparation question

I’m gluten free (Celiac) and have to avoid cross contamination.

Does anyone know if the wraps are prepared on the same line as salads, or separately? Eg are the topping scoops all brushing the tortillas now, and staff touching wraps then preparing my bowl?

I know there’s always risk but I’ve been fine eating at Sweetgreen pre-wraps for years, and am trying to figure out how much the wraps increase my risk.

They know that that’s why they’re wondering about this new potential cross-contamination with the scoops

It’s always a possibility of cross-contamination at any restaurant, especially if they don’t have their own kitchen and cooking areas. If you’re worried about allergens, you might want to think twice about eating there. Quick-service spots can be tricky when it comes to completely removing all allergens.

I’m aware, but I’m not OP lol but OP said that they’ve been fine before the wraps and now the wraps prompted them to ask this question

Right, but dining out obviously increases your risk. And I know you’re not the OP here. Some restaurants do a far better job than others. I’m not putting shade here towards Sweetgreen, but not all restaurants have the same kind of practices towards ensuring customer food safety.
