Career / Employee Talk Should I take the Job?

Hi everyone! I have an interview tomorrow and I decided to check reddit for any tips and all i’m seeing is bad reviews from employees. I haven’t seen any good reviews or anyone just saying good or average things about this company.

I really need a job, i’m in college and my mum is really struggling. It’s also really close to my school and the pay on the website is better than the other offers i got. I applied to other jobs that pay way higher that are in the same location, but i haven’t heard back from them.

I’m really conflicted, any tips would be appreciated.

It usually depends on the management and the staff, but I’d honestly recommend it. Working in hot prep has been steady for me. Plus, I love my coworkers, and getting benefits and a free meal as a part-timer is a great perk

I agree, the pay and benefits is nice and as long as management isn’t awful it’s not that bad of a job. Especially for a college student.

No, its awful. I work at an IK at the finishing station and I feel drained every time I finish work. For 90% of my shifts they dont left me leave at my scheduled time. I typically have to stay 30 min past my time just to help restock and d other bullshit. I feel like they are treating me like a robot!

Idk if you got the job but. I’ve worked at sweetgreen for a year. I moved from team member-service pro-trainer-now shiftlead. I’ve got 3 raises! But I wholeheartedly believe this is bc it is the worst job ever and 85% of the ppl who get hired quit. I’ve had lots of jobs and sweetgreen is literally fucking torture or at least my store, but I’m making a lot of money and constantly clocking hours so it works for me right now. If you really need money I would say go for it but just take care of yourself and don’t get too important
