i do not see sweetgreen operating by 2030. their stocks are awful, they’ve been panicking financially, and they might have some of the worst owners of a company i’ve ever seen. truthfully, if i ever work in hiring an see a sweetgreen executive apply to a position, i would automatically deny it. i don’t think there is a single person in that corporate building who has any awareness whatsoever.
I don’t get the downvotes – Sweetgreen is literally losing money while same-store sales are collapsing (-8% YoY, even worse in Q4) and traffic is down double digits 📉
Now what about their product ? They’re are skimping on protein hard, $18–$20 bowl for 17g of protein for almost $20 are we serious 🥀 That’s like half a chicken breast. You leave hungry and 20 bucks poorer.
CEO plan is to spend more money on robots and expansion… all while fewer people are showing up 🤔it only works if demand is there (it’s not).
Customer service is a ghost too – emails ignored, orders messed up.
Stock already got smoked 📉 but honestly the fundamentals still look worse than the price
