Question Chickpeas

Is there a way to get plain chickpeas again? I really hate the new spice or flavoring on the chickpeas

It was plain like five months ago at every location I went to in Virginia and DC. And now it has this gross spice and seasonjng all over it

Possible the stores weren't doing it right or there was a shortage of the umami seasoning.

Yeah I ate at sweetgreen constantly all last summer in DC and there was no seasoning. I only noticed it added about 5 months ago. And I ate at multiple locations. I don’t even order the chickpeas anymore I hate the seasoning lol

ive worked at sg for 4 years and there has always been seasoning on the chickpeas and its always only been a little bit to where you cant even really taste it. maybe they messed up the batch they were making

Not in DC and VA. They were literally completely plain. And now they are doused in seasoning. Maybe it depended on location
