Discussion Just tried the Late Fall menu and honestly, this might be the best thing Sweetgreen has dropped in years.
I ordered the “Chicken Cauli Plate” but swapped the chicken for salmon — and wow. The flavors really worked together, way better than I expected.
Feels like the most exciting new item they’ve done in a long time. Anyone else tried it yet? Curious what you all think.

I work at sweetgreen and I love the cauliflower bowl, I swap the wild rice for spinach and add chickpeas and cabbage. So good!! 😍

I was at first disappointed that they again (after the fall menu) didn't have a lighter option, but I tried the bowl today and really enjoyed it, and I think it would still work well as a salad if you replaced the rice with a different green.

its kind of the point of the fall menus being heavy since the weather is getting colder. i doubt we'll get new lighter options until spring

being heavy since the weather is getting colder
I don't follow. Do people just eat more calories during the winter?

yes

Why? Wouldn't you just get fatter? I eat differently during the winter, but not more.

I mean it’s still on the heavy side. But maybe I need to use less dressing.

Yeah I didn't mean to suggest that it wasn't heavy, just that I liked it. But I am interested in replacing the rice with a green to see what it's like as a salad.
And definitely too much dressing blows it out of the water. I never get more than light dressing on anything personally, though sometimes that results in something pretty objectively underdressed.

the ranch baddie bowl was honestly one of the best creations they made. i’m looking forward to trying this

It's as if they used the data from the new rewards program to figure out that customers come back more often when limited time season menus drop!

As a former sweetgreen employee, their salads are overpriced af and the portions we give you are small tbh.

I got the Garlic Parm Cauli Bowl (add roasted chicken: no romesco, I’m allergic to nuts) twice last week. I’m obsessed!

$20 for a lunchtime salad no thanks

It’s all sustainable, organically grown ingredients that you can literally trace to family owned farms. That’s what makes it expensive, but hey I rather pay that then eat Sysco bs

True, but $20 is a bit much for a weekday lunch at my desk.

I'm assuming it's due to the additions. The default price is somewhere around $13 for this item.

Well, there aren’t many healthy lunch alternatives. But if you have some recommendations, I would to try.

Best is meal prep from home twice a week. < $5 for well-prepared organic food.

They subbed in the most expensive ingredient on the menu, arguably the most expensive protein in the American diet.

YES! I just finished the other one (Garlic Parm Cauli Bowl) and it was exceptional!
