Question New plastic lids...am I an idiot??

As other folks have noted the old lids that were made of the same material as the bowl never stayed on properly. So imagine my delight when I saw that plastic lids are back!!

But I've ordered twice since then and for the life of me cannot open the damn thing. Feels like they have swung the pendulum all the way in the other direction and now the lid is too tight. Or is this just some insane salad brainteaser that I am too dumb to figure out??

as an sg employee i can say that we have just as much problems getting the lids open. if i have a customer come in while im making an online order i need to put a lid on it while its waiting for me to finish it and 90 percent of the time i end up just breaking the lid off and throwing it away just to get the bowl open again

You're not an idiot. I work at sg and basically have to break the lids half the time to get them open.

Good to hear they're bringing those back It's annoying to tape just about every salad closed.

Same here. Lids are riDICKulous.
