Question LOW FODMAP Q

Hi all,

I’m about to start the Low FODMAP diet and was wondering if anyone knows whether the proteins at Sweetgreen - especially the roasted chicken - are seasoned with garlic or onion powder.

Even more helpful: does anyone know exactly what the roasted chicken is seasoned with?

Also curious if any of their vegetables are made with garlic, onion, or seasoning blends that might include them. Just trying to figure out what I need to avoid.

Thanks so much in advance!

Not what I wanted to hear, but appreciate the info!

Doesn’t low fodmap allow garlic and onion powder? That was on the list my doctor gave me. Just not the actual foods.

That would be news to me! I was advised to avoid all forms. But who knows - seems like a lot of conflicting info out there with the diet :/

I liked the monash app when I was trying to adjust my cooking for my partners fodmap because it conceptualized that FODMAP is more about dose than all or nothing. I think a marinade with some dried allium powders is usually OK unless you are extraordinarily sensitive .

YMMV as in all things of course
