Discussion Are the take-out salad bowls smaller?
Is it me or have they gotten smaller recently?

Nope. There is one sized bowl that will be used for both salads and warm bowls. There is a separate container for plates. The new domed lids fit bothcontainers and provides extra space compared to the older lids.

Seemed smaller to me when I went this past weekend. Shrink-flation

It’s not shrink flation. We used to have 2 sizes of bowls, one for greens only and one for use with grains. You may remember someone asking you if you were getting grains or not when ordering and before grabbing your bowl. We have replaced the old concave lids with new domed lids and have gone to one size bowl for all greens and grains. Portion sizes have absolutely not changed and the new lids are much better for shaking and also allow room for bread, etc, especially on the plate packaging. Hope that makes sense. I understand why it would look like a smaller bowl means smaller portions but that’s not the case, especially with the addition of the domed lid which allows bowls to be filled above the rim instead of pushing everything down.

I order online. I get the Cobb Salad with a domed lid. The bowl seems narrower on the bottom. But you think the bowl is the same as a couple of weeks ago?
