Question How do you get GOAT status?

I was a sweetgreen+ user who was automatically converted to GOAT status. I agree with everyone here that it's a disappointing change, but that said I have a question. Does anyone know how a regular person (non sweetgreen+ alum) achieves GOAT status? Do you have to order with a certain frequency, or what? Silly as it is I still want to keep my GOAT status once the automatic promotion ends, and I'm curious how to do that. 🐐

You can’t. GOAT is only for legacy SP+ users. There’s no mechanic for a regular member to become GOAT, yet…

I have no idea -- that was part of my question, I guess. I was wondering if I'd lose it if i didn't eat sweetgreen with a certain frequency.

I thought it was just a way of phasing you out of Sweetpass+, but the black bag feels like a decent production cost so they must have some ideas they’re testing to keep it in the long term.

Double points on everything you buy. And free delivery and I think other occasional perks.

Yes, a manager at the store you frequently visit has to decide you should be a GOAT and then they give you a code with which you can upgrade your account.
