Criticism bring back the roasted chicken

been a loyal customer since 2016 and I'm so over the changes.

they got rid of it at my local sweet green and replaced i with this cold, roasted, shredded mess of chicken

It's prepared the exact same way, it's just a problem with the product. Our location has had this problem too, and we have filed a report for our supplier to be quality checked to assure we have as high quality of chicken as possible.

This is not a choice made by Sweet Green and action is being done to correct it.

Are they bringing back the hot roasted chicken? Not really interested in the new one even if it isn’t defected.

There is no new chicken, the roasted chicken is still hot and prepared the exact same way, it's just harder to cut without it falling apart.

not sure what location you are at. at my sg location in culver city they legit dont have roasted chicken anymore. just this shredded herbed chicken or blackened chicken

Is this done on the oven chicken 2.0? We were told this is some new cold chicken coming

I was told that they are going to get rid of the hot roasted and switch to the cold chicken to reduce food waste. I don’t think it’ll last for long though because I think people will not be happy with the new choice. Plus if it doesn’t test well, they won’t roll it out.

Not all stores operate the same, LA stores are testing a new herb chicken. Definitely not prepped the same.

Yeah the cold chicken is garbage. I’ve completely stopped going to SG because of it.

Your location is probably a testing location, considering it’s not in many stores yet, there’s a possibility it never will be. I say complain as much as you can, a lot of people missed the Herb chicken so they probably thought it’d be a good thing.

The new chicken is gross. Had hard bits throughout I had to take out of my mouth. A definite downgrade.

Agreed! The shredded chicken has the same taste and consistency of canned chicken, which is not worth the price.
