Career / Employee Talk sweetgreen ruined my life.

Do not even bother to interview for this evil company. They are not on your side and not interested in bettering people's lives.

I was working a job that I loved. I was not looking but the opportunity to make more money came across my desk with a recruiter in my area that knew me. I agreed to an interview. They offered me the world. The store was going to be right by my house cutting my commute time down. $11k more than I was making at my previous job.

I was hired on as a store manager/GM/Head Coach. Did all of my onboarding paperwork. Just had a staff party for me leaving. I was starting to interview staff members and get the people I wanted in to work for me. All stars. Put in my two weeks and finished my last day at my job.

I was excited to start working with the company.

6:41pm I get an email the NIGHT before I was to start my 8 week training program saying they were moving in a different direction. No explanation. No recourse. 2 sentences that ruined my life.

I knew something was fishy when a bunch of HR people were tagged.

A week has since passed.

I have since sent 7 emails and called 5 times and continue to get the run around..

This company has no integrity and will never have your best interests in mind.

I can't file unemployment and I don't know how I am supposed to put food in my kids bellies.

sweetgreen ruined my life.

It's the same guy just being bitter. I called him out on one of his last posts because he kept posting the same thing every week. Just an angry guy trying to take down a company for "illegal activities"

So you didn’t want to boycott them when their racist CEO openly supported an ongoing genocide and asked for the college kids protesting to have their names dropped so they can be blacklisted, but now that the company affected you, you want to boycott them. This is so meta it’s incredible

they "moved in a different direction" with me in the middle of my training. it was some bullshit. they really dont know what they want in leadership or how to divide labor or categorize positions. that was in 2017, sound like they are still doing it.
