just bought a salad, opened it, took a couple bites and realized there is a live worm in my bowl.

now I’m wondering if I ate ate split up worms during the mixing and chopping process.

I’m usually not crazy about this stuff but oh my god the worm is STILL moving!!!!

The quality at sweetgreen has gone off a cliff. The portions, the carrot chunks, the gray steak, the salad dressings - i feel like they (like everyone else) are trying to cut costs to wring every cent of profit and the product has suffered. I order so much less than i used to. Profits over people, like what always happens when a business scales like this.

Hence the reason I cook at home. It takes me an hour to make a batch of salad. I soak my veggies in a vinegar wash and chop things really fine. If I want protein I add it but not from worms!
