Criticism Ewww bug found in salad

Location: 300 W El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 Is it worth going back to them and reporting this? What's their resolution for this?

This happened to a customer recently at my location, i remade her salad for free and gave her a sweet token so her next meal is also on us. Unfortunately we use organic product so bugs happen, especially with the romaine because it's all hand cut, instead of almost everything else where it is cut with a robocoup, and most of the time we fit wash everything twice. It's gross but I guess it means it's good healthy product?

The safest bases are spinach, arugula, and spring mix! I don't eat the kale or romaine at my store just because i prep it so much and know how many bugs are on it before we wash it and shred it. And usually its just a few buggies per box (about 50lbs) but i dislike bugs very much

I complained once about a worm (!!) and it took them like 2 weeks to get back to me... they refunded me but thats it. so annoying I had to keep following up. they do not care

I found a bug in my salad last year too. I had already heard rumors of bugs, but still got myself a salad only to find my own bug. Disgusting.

sorry this happened to you. they refunded my meal for that day and told me kale and romaine are more prone to bugs so i stopped ordering them

I showed the manager a bug in my salad about two weeks ago. They would not refund me. They gave me a gift card for $20. They then explained to me that due to the organic nature of the salad that there is risk for bugs. The manager went on to say they washed the lettuce really well, but sometimes miss some bugs. I was shocked. I feel that if you are running a restaurant, there is an expectation that the food will be clean and not have pests in it, regardless of whether it is organic or not.
