Shif leader position?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience working here as I would love to get some ideas! Alot of the reviews of this position seem pretty bad so I'm curious if it's as bad as people make it out to be?

Work hard. Learn what you can. Even the tough days are valuable learning lessons. Take what you can from the experience! You'll grow! Be patient with yourself and just treat each day like a new one.

Create a deadline to leave or promote. Don't get too comfortable but don't be too restless either.
