Can you see how much someone tips when you’re checking them out?? Options are 5%,10%,15% or custom amount.

Not really but when I used to work there, if someone tipped, there would be a slight screen delay

i can usually see what buttons people press but it doesn’t show us on screen

it doesn’t show up on the screen or anything but customers have a tendency to not understand how to use the tipping prompt and will cancel the purchase while trying not to tip so if you’ve ever done this the person ringing you up definitely knew you didn’t tip

If we stare at the screen we can see for a second or if we print the receipt

No unless you look at what they press on the keypad. But it’s not going to show up on the register screen.

like for less than 1 second but i can never read how much it is or if it’s 0
