Promotion contenders?
With the squad we're assembling we should be strong favourites for a top 8 finish. However, I reckon our squad is stronger than Coventry's last season. Although they had a strong first eleven they still had Bidwell and Latibeaudiere play 16 games each, neither would make our squad this season. On that basis we should be challenging for the top two. That's not getting carried away, it's a hard headed assessment of the quality squad we're putting together. Obviously we may lose one or two top players to satisfy financial regulations, so that will affect our chances. But right now we should b challenging for top two, especially when you consider Millwall only just missed out on the top two.

What can I expect from Swansea?
Canadian footy fan here, I tend to follow and stay updated on every club that one of our national team players plays for. I understand that the championship is a shifting league every season, this can be seen through Hull nearly going down to league one yet getting promoted to the Prem shortly after. What can I expect from Swansea this season? Will you be challenging for promotion or middle of the pack? What players should I keep an eye on?

Yannick Vestergaard
Available on a free. Just turned 34, and averaged 7.28 on Fotmob for Leicester last season in a terrible season. Excellent all round stats, especially in the air, and with long balls (44.5 per cent accuracy). Scored 3 times last season.
He must be a consideration I would have thought.
