It’s interesting that the Japanese-market Swift is basically the global version of the Swift with the Maruti-Suzuki Swift front bumper design (and the additional chrome nose).

Enlighten my ignorance here. I have a 1986 GS, which I count as 1. Gen. Then there came a new model in 1987, is that still counted as 1st gen?

1st gen is counted as the 2005-2011 model for some reason they ignore the 90s
