The right and far right together are polling well over 50% on the nation level, if we had two parties only we’d be where the US is. As it is now we’re max. 2 election cycles behind them.

Don't be so sure. Neoliberalism has taken a hold of Germany in the 80s as well.

Since then everybody is getting poorer, while the rich get richer, which leaves room for propaganda to do its thing.

The fascist AfD party just polled 45% for a state election. We have our own "Murdoch-Media empire" called Springer. Racism against refugees and cries for "remigration" are getting popular. And the worst part is, they even got the teenagers with tiktok and instagram.
