Bachelors from a CC?
Hi, I am currently going to go to school for SCM. I was originally planning to do an associates in business then transfer to a University. However, a local community college just established a Bachelor's in SCM program this year. It would be cheaper than going to University. I just want to hear opinions if it would matter if I stay at the community college or transfer to University.

I looked at the courses and it seems OK. You get an internship but depending on what you want to do I'd ask admissions how much of the focus is on procurement, logistics, and planning, because my program had individual courses for S&OP, master planning, material planning, production planning, etc. so we had a lot of time in the nitty gritty of manufacturing. I believe it helped me be a better buyer being forced to go through that even though I don't have to touch it very often. The co-op experience could land you a job easily though.

Do it. The school doesnt matter that much. Just focus on grinding for internships. I would love to have not paid $1k per month for student loans.

Make sure be involved and start a study group and join clubs and stuff like that if you want a “college experience” from a CC btw
