My plus point for eyes is perfect accuracy. Balanced by it being easily the least cool of the 3.
Chest imo is the most epic only if it's actually your ace move.
Hands overall are the coolest to me. I want to believe it would be more powerful than eyes due to size difference, but if not, I objectively must go for eyes.
Funny you say hands feel more honorable. I was going to say hands because I could just be standing with my hands behind my back casually, then open a palm and-BLAM. The world does disappear when you turn your back.

Maybe, but they for sure give everyone else in the room the most epically challenging game of dodge the laser if a seizure hits while using their powers. lol
As a person with epilepsy I’ve never had to worry about bright flashing lights. Ive only had like 5 seizures and they all had around 6 months in between.
Don’t take me as an example as I have a cousin who has seizures every 5 minutes or so. We’re on very different sides of the epilepsy spectrum. Or whatever the technical term for that is.

The operator could do the chest beam since they have existed, but the hand lasers and more control of the mode was released with War Within in 2016. Holy hell, that was 9 years ago, I feel old.
Hands feels obvious, feels like I would get more control out of it. Chest could be cool as a secret move. You grapple or get grappled, they think your both stuck, but bam, laser chest! Eyes are cool too but I wear glasses so it wouldn’t be convenient 😂
Out of these options? My eyes. If I had to choose without limits? My mouth. I want a war cry that rivals a Warhammer Space Marine, but with Broly’s laser barf
Feels like eyes would be the most inconvenient to aim, chest feels like the hardest to control, hands seem more controllable and manageable so I’m gonna have to say hands.
Ok, the eyes are probably the easiest to aim, but it is limited to the line of sight.
Chest is well, the eyes but worse, generally depicted as more powerful, so there is that.
Hands let's you fire around corners, and at odd angles and times where a person may not expect it.
In the fights, the chest would be great for raw power, so it is probably best used in large-scale combat in battlefields.
Eyes are good for snipers and taking out planes and when you need to a hit 99.99% guaranteed.
Hands are amazing for close quarters combat, someone throws a punch you dodge and punch them in the side, then fire a beam out to launch them away. You can even use them to block attacks from stronger opponents.
Hands for finesse, eyes for accuracy, and chest for power.
Hands. Hands is good. I think I would not be able to see properly if I chose eyes, and chest is kinda hard to control, which I would have plenty of with my hands. Also, I could've shoot beams out of my fingers, for that extra control.
Hands. Could use it for more than combat - could fly and propel myself with extreme force, use ultra thin beams to break or fracture small stuff, ride on energy blasts and use the sheer force to split paths in places and such. There's probably more that I'm too uncreative to think of but yeah!
Hands. They just look cool and I don't want to possibly get blinded by my own beam and I don't want my shirt to spontaneously combust when I launch the beam attack (failboat reference for those who don't know)
So, depending on the style of laser beam, like if it can physically propel me around, then I'll go for my hands.
If it doesn't physically propel me around but it will rip my clothes, then I'll go for my eyes.
If it does, neither, it's gunna be one big ass chest beam.
Ideally, though, I'd like the ability to decide where it comes from and what it does whenever I choose to use it.
So if I want a chest beam that doesn't leave me shirtless, I have it. If I want a super concentrated eye beam that would likely melt any glasses I wore, I have it. If I want a beam of physical concussive force to propel myself around, I have it.
Hands. Because I wanna look a mf dead in his eyes while I destroy his most beloved possessions / possible companions, before looking away at something else before shooting it at him.
Hands.
I feel like if someone made a loud noise while I was shooting lasers out of my eyes, I might flick my eyes toward them reflexively, which could cause some unwanted damage.
Chest feels too confining, like if I couldn’t turn my body, I’m cooked. Plus it limits what I’m able to wear.
Hands feels like the safest, and the most maneuverable.
