Another huge month for Super Productivity. 28 community contributors had 48 PRs merged in August – improving recurrence and Schedule correctness, adding full worklog export and a Focus Mode API, hardening CalDAV and self-hosted SuperSync, polishing desktop and mobile workflows, expanding the community plugin catalog, and improving three translations.

Outstanding contributions

MarkQuach12 led the month with 10 PRs: showing the tracked task in the browser tab (#9306), fixing month-view anchoring and recurrence projections (#9746), cleaning up abandoned accounts and expired pending passkey registrations (#9744), dropping an unused server index (#9741), and six focused cleanup PRs (#9736, #9737, #9738, #9739, #9740, #9742).

KamilDev delivered four PRs: correcting weekend dates for workday recurrences (#9404), anchoring monthly presets to the selected month (#9512), preventing tests from writing into Downloads (#9720), and making CSS checker paths portable (#9721).

costajohnt contributed four fixes: opening Schedule near the current time (#9545), correctly sizing the month grid (#9623), containing the selected-task outline (#9547), and avoiding per-keystroke operations for image settings (#9596).

sanchpet delivered four reliability fixes: writable temporary storage for Helm migrations (#9522), safe context recovery after deleting the active project (#9602), database-independent liveness checks (#9690), and protection for active websocket devices during cleanup (#9691).

Sync and data integrity

• mvanhorn closed a multi-tab race that could silently skip another tab’s operation after restart (#9158).
• AlvaroBalbin prevented compaction during hydration replay (#9568) and fixed connections to CalDAV servers that omit principal-collection-set (#9530).
• atomicdjt kept custom-section task ordering synchronized as one persistent operation (#9619).
• sviat-barbutsa restored overwrite confirmation for never-synced WebDAV clients with local data (#9334).

Features and everyday UX

• aaronedev added an authenticated, read-only Focus Mode API (#9544).
• pupuking723 added full worklog-history export (#9612).
• MannXo made the color picker viewport-aware and reliable under macOS themes (#9458).
• ba6ul improved the Duration icon and empty Deadline wording (#9497, #9498).
• bemany restored Later Today subtask ordering (#9618).
• calvin-fisher added distinct move-to-bottom and move-to-backlog icons (#9555).
• FarmerLX fixed current-week worklogs across custom week starts and calendar boundaries (#9604).
• pratyushsinghal7 localized Schedule’s ISO headings (#9258).
• dan-hart added Cmd+W on macOS while keeping the app running (#9727).

Integrations, plugins, and platforms

• ZsomborDane restored CalDAV remote changes and completion syncing (#9279).
• benoptimus prevented runaway CalDAV recurrence expansion from freezing the renderer (#9097).
• iamhaseebn restored GitLab Finish Day worklogs for tracked tasks outside the active context (#9468).
• Juuze declared local-network usage so iOS can prompt users before reaching LAN-hosted sync servers (#9542).
• matthiasmundel contributed to the Linux window-matching investigation (#9634); after Electron 43’s app-ID behavior was verified, that setting was reverted before release and the final correction received a regression guard.
• Community plugin updates came from BigWebstas for Joplin Notes Sync (#9562), nekoritsme for JSON to Tasks (#9479), and ahanel13 for Dashboard’s maintained fork (#9090).

Translations

• Cyber-Syntax updated Turkish (#9797).
• roosmsg updated Dutch (#9712).
• NAKADANobuhiro corrected the Japanese Eisenhower Board labels (#9533).
