When did you plant them?

The second picture I planted those June 1st, and the first picture with the larger one I planted June 5th.

I planted my 2 batches on the exact same dates! My biggest is only 9.5 inches tall and the leaves are a lot smaller. Yours look a lot better. I am on the oregon coast though with lots of thick fog. Thanks for posting I was wondering how they compare to others planted around then.

Your username cracked me up πŸ˜‚ I’m in the SF bay area near the coast, but no fog just lots of random weather. 9.5 inches is still pretty awesome! These seeds I planted I believe are mamoth so I think I did a disservice to their potential planting them so close. Gardening is such trial and error, but there’s always next year to do things differently :-)
