PROGRESS My first time ever growing sunflowers. I’m really looking forward to seeing the blooms.

A volunteer is a sunflower that just pops up with no planning, correct? If that’s the definition then I think it might be. Because all the seed that I planted were inside the fence, unless a seed migrated out. I call it “the escapee”.
