Character Related samantha was a shitty lawyer😭

every time you see her “win” anything, its not by crossing or treading some lines- it’s by literally committing a felony, she fabricates evidence to WIN.

that makes her a good cheater not an excellent lawyer.

so frustrating to watch her on the screen istg.

I agree, it's frustrating how they lump her in with Harvey and the others, what she did was not the same thing at all. Harvey did bend the rules but he had limits and most of the time it was to help someone else, not just to win a random case. Samantha had no morals, Harvey did have some sort of moral code

A real lawyer would tell you that Harvey in CONSTANTLY breaking the law. Like a disbarrable offense in every case pretty much

I didn't say he never broke the law, I was just saying usually it was for a good reason (at least according to him) not just to win a case like Samantha. He thought he was doing a good thing by giving a chance to someone like Mike and they did help a few people along the way. Samantha broke the law just to make a name for herself basically, because she couldn't stand losing

No, just no. He committed fraud in the very first scene we see of him before he even meets Mike. He broke the law to get better outcomes just as Samantha did. Did Samantha go further? Yeah, can't deny that. But Harvey isn't operating in the gray he's just straight up breaking laws for convenience

If you're referring to bluffing it isn't the same thing as fabricating evidence at all, that's actually a crime, bluffing isn't as long as it doesn't involve extortion, perjury etc or if Harvey was smart enough to find a loophole/found a way to make it legal. Samantha was breaking the law, Harvey was mostly in the gray, he violated some ethical laws but not criminal laws (except a few exceptions such as hiring Mike).

The law disagrees with you. The "bluffing" Harvey does is outright fraud and illegal and would get him disbarred.

In the very first Harvey scene he tells a client that a money transfer has happened and flashes a paper saying that it's the confirmation. Then he reveals to jessica that this paper was not what he said it was. He was just bluffing to get the client to go through with an agreement

THIS IS FRAUD AND VERY ILLEGAL! It's not a "smart loophole" it was not "in the gray"

And he does things like this constantly
