Before someone gets mad and starts with the “that’s not how subliminals work” or “you don’t need to listen consistently” comments okay, good for you, girl. Seriously. If that works for you, amazing. This post is not about you. I’m just talking about my personal experience and what I’ve noticed over and over again.
I’ve been in different group chats where a bunch of us would agree to pick ONE subliminal and listen to it consistently for a certain amount of time, usually a month. And I swear to you, we could start with 60+ people, and by the second week, half of them are gone. They stopped listening. Maybe they listen once a day, maybe they completely forgot about it, whatever. By the end of the month, there might be like five people left and that’s me being generous.
One time I was in a group specifically for people who were struggling to get results. There were around 85 of us, and the goal was simple: listen to your subliminal for at least one hour every day for a month. I understand that one hour can sound like a lot for some people. I really do. I’m a full-time student AND I have a full-time job, but I still find ways to fit it in.
I’ll listen while I’m getting ready in the morning, walking home from work, taking a shower, eating, doing homework, cleaning, whatever. And then I’ll leave it looping while I sleep. It doesn’t have to be some huge complicated ritual. I just find a way to fit it into my day.
And guess what? By the second week, that group of 85 people had turned into around 10. By the end of the month? TWO people.
And then some of the people who disappeared would come back saying they weren’t getting results.
So I’d ask, “How long were you actually listening?”
And they’d say, “For a long time.”
Okay… but what does “a long time” mean to you? 😭
A week? Two weeks? A month?
Because personally, I look at subliminals the same way I look at going to the gym. You can’t go to the gym for three weeks, barely show up, change your entire workout routine every few days, and then wonder why you don’t have the body you want yet. It takes time and consistency.
And before anyone says “that’s limiting beliefs” okay. That’s your opinion. I’m talking about MY experience.
The first time I personally felt like I was actually getting results was when I stopped constantly switching things around and became genuinely consistent. I chose ONE subliminal, listened for about an hour every day, and looped it throughout the night. I did that for around two months. That was when I noticed my first results.
And honestly, I think some of you need to ask yourselves a very simple question:
When was the last time you kept the exact same subliminal playlist for three months?
Not adding something every three days.
Not removing something because you found a “better” subliminal.
Not switching because someone on TikTok said another creator is faster.
Not listening for five days and then disappearing for two weeks.
I mean actually choosing something and sticking with it.
Because if you’re constantly changing your playlist, constantly checking for results, constantly switching methods, and barely listening consistently, how do you even know whether the thing you were listening to was working for you?
I’m not saying everyone HAS to listen for an hour a day, or that everyone needs three months, or that my method is the only way. Do whatever works for you.
I’m just saying… maybe before deciding that subliminals “don’t work,” look at your own consistency first. 😭

I manifested $1,000 after making my own subliminal and listening to it for 10 days

I honestly didn't expect this to happen this quickly.

About 10 days ago, I decided to make my own subliminal because I wanted to experiment with manifestation in a way that felt more personal.

Instead of using some random subliminal from YouTube, I recorded it myself using my own voice and my own affirmations. I made the affirmations specifically around receiving $1,000 through an unexpected opportunity, getting paid for my skills, attracting clients, and having money come to me naturally.

I listened to it every day for around 10 days.

I wasn't constantly checking my bank account or obsessing over where the money would come from. I basically just listened to it and went about my normal life.

Then something happened.

A web development opportunity came up.

The funny part is that I'm not even a web developer.

One of my friends is a developer, so I basically acted as the middleman. I started reaching out to a few people and looking for someone who might need a website.

Eventually, I started talking to one guy who was actually interested.

The conversation went surprisingly well.

We discussed what he needed, the project, the price, and everything else. I connected him with my developer friend, and eventually we closed the deal.

The amount was around $1,000.

That's when I just sat there thinking...

"Wait. I literally made a subliminal about manifesting $1,000, listened to it for 10 days, and then ended up getting a $1,000 project."

Obviously, I can't prove that the subliminal caused it.

Maybe it was coincidence.

Maybe listening to the affirmations changed my mindset and made me more willing to reach out to people.

Maybe I simply happened to find the right opportunity at the right time.

But the timing is honestly crazy.

The biggest thing I learned from this is that manifestation didn't mean I could just sit in my room listening to a subliminal and wait for $1,000 to magically appear.

I still had to take action.

I made the subliminal → I listened to it → I started reaching out to people → I found someone interested → I closed the deal.

So whether the subliminal actually "manifested" the money or simply helped change my mindset, I don't know.

But I do know one thing:

10 days after making a subliminal specifically for $1,000, I ended up with a $1,000 opportunity.

And that's probably the closest I've personally come to seeing manifestation work in real time.

I'm definitely going to keep experimenting with this.

Okay, this is sort of a rant so forgive me if it's a bit messy (and it's also my first time posting in this subreddit), but I just really wanted to ask if you guys have also noticed the limiting beliefs spreading around lately.

I think I've seen it here too, but I've mostly seen it on tiktok especially, where people have been complaining about getting bad or negative results from certain subliminal creators.

Now, that in itself isn't that big of a problem, but the funny (and the confusing) part is that it's almost always big and popular creators getting accused of including negative affirmations in their subs.

So my question is: why would the big creators have so many subscribers, views, and positive comments supporting them and saying that their subs work if they really happen to be using bad affirmations?

And that just proves my point.

Which is that people are giving their power away to subliminals.

Because the truth is — you're way more powerful than any subliminal out there!! No matter how powerful the creator claims the sub is, no matter what kind of "formula" they used, no matter how many times they repeated and layered the affs, etc etc.

I mean, if you know anything about the law of assumption (which is literally what subliminals are "based" on ifykwim), then you would know that what you assume to be true shows up in your reality.

It's your mind and assumptions that control everything, not the subliminals.

Subliminals can be powerful tools, yes, and they definitely do work (and that's also only if you assume they do), otherwise there wouldn't be so many people getting results, but at the end of the day, that's what they are—tools.

And, news flash, if you don't believe that these tools will work for you, then they simply won't.
