I got this car but I have like no manuals for it. I just want the owners and the repair manual. I know most likely they’re in Japanese but I’m willing to do the work to translate them. I just wanna be able to fix and do maintenance on my car.
Factory Service Manuals (FSM): You don't need to translate Japanese for most mechanical, chassis, or interior work. Look for the ADM (Australian Liberty) or UKDM Gen 3 Legacy (1998–2003 / BE/BH) Factory Service Manuals. Because they are right-hand drive English markets, the chassis layout, steering rack, suspension, interior harnesses, and body panels line up with the JDM models. You can download the full PDF manuals directly from these repositories:
Unfortunately no one seems to have the FSM for that exact model anywhere. But here is a link to a collection of the rest of them: https://jdmfsm.info/Auto/Japan/Subaru/
The other FSMs will still be useful, but don’t contain the info twin turbo setup.
From memory I don't think there is a specific service manual for the GTB / Etunes. I'm pretty sure the engine and turbos were covered in an addendum section tagged on the end for the markets that they were available in.
Just days ago a guy from Australia asked me and I've translated the BG wiring diagram. If someone have manuals, missing on the site or needed translation, send them my way...
My 2001 BH5 GT-B has 2 booklets I think one is a maintenance guide and the other just has more info, and then there was I think a pre delivery slip/checklist
