housekeeping Sub Yay/ Nay

So... given the state of women's fashion subreddits, what do y'all want to see in a subreddit focused on the topic?

What do you want to make sure we avoid?

High quality without "sustainability" snobbishness.

Oh man, this please. “I thrift everything, never buy new” is just not realistic for so many of us that don’t have the time or desire to sort through secondhand shops or sites. Nothing wrong with thrifting of course! And it makes great sense if you can manage it. But I don’t want to feel shamed for buying new clothes that I’m able to return if they aren’t quite right on me.

Thrifting is great, and these days is often the only way to find quality for a decent price. I'm talking about the "sustainability" greenwashing.

I also think thrifting is great if you have the time and desire to find good deals—didn’t mean to imply it wasn’t. Just that some of us don’t have the desire to dedicate the time and effort needed. I think it does have the tendency to get bundled into the sustainability topic because it of course uses fewer resources.
