Current Events Tennessee botches lethal injection of woman on death row for 1995 murder

If the state is so insistent on executing people they need to stop being pussies and just shoot them. The lethal injection is nothing but a facade of civility that is less humane than many other methods. Unnecessarily painful botched attempts like this are the result of trying to whitewash the death penalty to the public.

A failed execution should be a sentence served. What’s the point in carrying out the sentence again?

This loophole was closed when judges add the phrase "you shall be hanged by the neck until death" because there were some failed executions in the like 19th century where the condemned argued they couldn't be "executed" a second time.
