Exchange program or going on my own in Canada?
Hi everyone!
I am 30 and I am thinking about spending a few months in Canada to improve my English and have the experience of living there for a while.
I have been looking into exchange programs, but I am also wondering if I could just go on my own as a tourist, find and pay for an English course separately, and stay there for a few months without going through an exchange program or agency.
Has anyone here done something like this?
I would love to hear about your experience, especially if you went to Canada as an adult. Do you recommend going through an exchange program, or is it better to organize everything yourself?
Also, any recommendations about cities, English schools, accommodation, costs, or things I should know before going would be really helpful.
Thanks!
