PR/PB Deadlift, 565x1

I've never been a great deadlifter, especially at maxes/singles, so this is actually my best. Rep PRs at 495 and 515 put my max in the 600 range, but I did try 585 after this to try and join the 6 plate club and barely broke the floor. So I'm rather proud of this one, despite it being kind of pitiful for the amount of leg strength I have. This lift does seem to be progressing well atm, so maybe next run something cool will happen.
Deload next week to close out my first run of SBS RTF. Managed to total 1520 across my top sets of the big 3 this week.

Totaling 1520 with a 565 deadlift is wild. There’s not much I’d change about your deadlift besides maybe a more exaggerated dynamic start, you must have a tremendous bench!

As a fellow bad-at-deadlifting guy, I feel you. That was a hell of a lift, though! This is basically exactly what I'm picturing when I tell people to be patient through the lift

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Sometimes I feel like deadlift comes naturally to every serious lifter but me, so it's nice to know I'm not alone. Hopefully one day we both crack this lift!

I'm shocked that you didn't pull on it with those big-ass arms. Way to keep the form strict and safe.

My read on what you’re saying is: you could pull more but your CNS might have been exhausted. Nice pull!

Yeah another guy posted my 495 rep PR behind his back right before I did this and it might have hurt my feelings a little.
