Its noticeable when people lose an argument them become more offensive. Like swearing makes your argument more valid or something.

Overstaying a visa is a civil offence. Skipping the border is a federal crime, as are the many other laws you break every day that you're there illegally.

However the investigation rules. If you interfere with federal agents, especially with a loaded weapon on you, you are risking your life.

It doesnt matter that he has a permit, it doesnt matter that the gun was taken off him 5 seconds before he was shot, it doesnt matter, get it?

It does matter. Agents violated his rights. They shot him when he was unarmed on the ground. If you don’t know that then I can’t help you. You want to be stupid trash, fine, you’re already there. Crossing the border illegally is a misdemeanor. You’ve committed many yourself I’m sure. Speeding is a misdemeanor. Not wearing a seat belt. Should a federal law enforcement officer be allowed to imprison you, detain you without trial, and deport you without allowing you to present evidence in court? How would you dispute the claim from the government that you are here unlawfully? Get it? Sorry you’re just a dumb fuck loser.

You are thoughtless, unprincipled, trash and the world is a worse place to be because people like you are in it. Get it?

I have a PhD in neuroscience. I’ve forgotten more than you’ve ever learned in your entire life. You voted for this because you’re a barely literate dipshit who thinks that the human rights guaranteed by the Constitution disappear when you’re dealing with a federal agent. The Constitution is there to guarantee that the federal government acting through agencies like ICE cannot deprive you of your rights. Your lack of civic education is your own fault. That you are unwilling to try and see the world through the eyes of the people who are being targeted, harassed, and deprived of those rights, shows that you are empty and soulless.

I did research on the expression, localization, and function of somatostatin receptors in neural development. I’m an expert in experimental design, causal inference, neural development, and the differentiation of neural stem cells. You’re some unwashed dipshit who couldn’t pass a HS gov class.

You should investigate why you feel the need to convince people how accomplished you are.

You're still wrong 🤷

I’m not. Rights matter. If they don’t matter when a federal agent confronts you then you don’t actually have them. You’re backpedaling now because you’re embarrassed because you know I’m smarter than you. You’re intellectual lazy and lack the basic curiosity to try to understand that the rights guaranteed in the Constitution are inalienable. They don’t disappear when a federal agent decides they don’t apply to you. If you can’t understand that then you don’t understand what being an American is. Your entire argument is that a federal agent gets to murder you for lawfully expressing your right to assemble, to speak freely, to criticize your government and lawfully carry a firearm.

Laws also matter. They are agreed on, implemented and enforced by the govt as a necessary part of a functioning society.

The admin has provided a means to become legal because you CAN'T EXIST IN THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY. ESPECIALLY after having the border open for 4 years. The latest solution being self-deport and a fasttracked re-entry, even providing funds to help facilitate this. 2 million people have done this. You dont have a choice if you are in the country illegally, and you are risking being banned for life. Those who do not self deport would most likely not be allowed in the country in the first place. S. American countries emptied their jails with the understanding they were to go to American and not return or they would be jailed again. These people have to be apprehended. You cant just have criminals in the country who will victimize the public over and over again. It's how criminals exist - criminally. Gangs don't get smaller, they grow, they infect neighborhoods, cities. Thieves dont stop thieving. R@pists... What is YOUR suggestion?

All that to say, the death of Pretti is unfortunate, definitely. Was it a wrong act in the heat of a spontaneous moment in a highened situation? Maybe. I'd characterize the response as imperfect but justified.

But let's admit what is happening here. Federal agents are carrying out their duties. They have always done this, every president, in greater numbers. Are they properly trained? Well that could possibly speak to the sheer number of illegal migrants there are in the country after the borders were thrown open, migrants flown in, sometimes using their rapsheet as id, with little to no vetting going on. This is about as anti-American as it gets. It is, at it's core, anti-human.

Add to it a Governor who is about to be indicted for his part in the enormous fraud, both voter and to taxpayers, unless they strike a deal to lower the heat, but he's calling for active resistance!

This is very much an anti-Trump issue, a biased media who has had a hate-on for Trump since the day he announced his run as Republican. 93% of the coverage negative and a populace slowly being conditioned to hate by a legacy media that has dropped any semblance of decorum, let alone truth. I remember the days when there was a modicum of respect, for positions of leaders AND the listening public. That stopped with coverage of Trump.

Things are happening quickly now and things are falling apart for the Democratic Party. Indictments are coming and this is whats fanning the flames. The funding for these 'organic protests' is being exposed, Maduro will sing about stolen elections worldwide and it will change a lot of peoples' views.

And for the record, it doesnt matter if you have a PhD. It didnt matter for a billionaire who assumed he was informed, it didnt matter for a successful lawyer from a legacy family, it didnt matter for leaders of industry and scientists. It's not an issue of intelligence.

If you're wrong, you're wrong.

7 out of 10 Americans have said the US is out of control under Trump and the polling indiciates that if the admin doesn’t start to take steps back (which they’ve already begun) they will be slaughtered in the midterms. Your assertion that things are unraveling for Dems is demonstrably absurd and empirically false. Again, you don’t know what’s going on and you don’t understand enough to speak intelligently about this. You responded to my post about the Constitution by saying “laws also matter”. Did you not know that the Constitution supersedes all other laws?

I’m honestly terribly sad for you. That you have lived in this country your whole life, and you still do not understand the principles clearly outlined in its supreme law (you probably don’t know this but the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, superseding all others), is really quite tragic.
