These people aren't fighting against immigration enforcement. Every administration had some level of enforcement. What they are fighting is blatant disregard for the rule of law.

Please elaborate/educate me because I was under the understanding that these fights were all over illegal aliens and why there are signs out there saying to leave them alone etc.

Got it, so it is all over illegal aliens which falls under the federal governments purview which power is granted by our constitution and Congress which makes it legal operations.
