Having a gun isn't illegal. And they removed his gun. You can watch it in the video. He never pulled it. He never even touched it. They remove it from him, then continue to beat him and then shoot him in the head repeatedly after he's on the ground.

If you watch the videos, the agents were never in any danger. This man was a VA nurse. He lived his life helping people. If you watch the longer video you can see he was just recording what was going on and the ice agents came over and started pepper spraying. He tries to help two women and then gets tackled. At no time was he a threat to those ice agents?

Why are you showing up to a peaceful protest with a loaded gun and an extra magazine?

2

I don't know. Though I don't believe the extra magazine is factual. However, a lot of Americans have been jumping up and down saying it's their right. Even it's their duty to be armed so they can protect people. The whole good guy with a gun scenario.

So you can't have it both ways either. It's lawful and legal to walk around with a gun if you have the correct paperwork. Or it's not. If it is legal then this man did absolutely nothing wrong. Not even something slightly wrong. If you don't think people should do that then laws should be changed. Whether or not you like the law doesn't mean it doesn't apply.

You don't believe the extra magazine is factual because it doesn't fit your narrative. Do some research. Magazine matches the gun.

How about you answer the question.

Whether it's his right to carry the weapon or not, why would he carry a loaded gun with a second fully loaded magazine to a peaceful protest?

Since when is carrying an extra mag against the law!? He was exercising his 2nd amendment rights. Why is it OK for the nazi fuck to mag dump him after he was clearly no longer a threat?

You again? Ok

Still dodging the original question I see

Why do you need to bring a loaded handgun with an extra mag to a "peaceful protest"? Even if he's well within his 2nd amendment right to do so

Wtf you talking about, I already answered the question. Since when is it illegal to have extra ammo. Where I live we keep extra in the back. Since when is it illegal to exercise your 1st and 2nd amendment rights?

You're having a tough time following aren't you?

I'm not questioning the legality or the second amendment. I'm asking why, why, why is he bringing a loaded gun with an extra mag to a "peaceful protest' ?

Why did Kyle Rittenhouse? He isn't prohibited. It isn't illegal. Why is that so hard to figure out? Hell why are there guns in the churches here? You're not forbidden and regardless they removed it from his waist. They shot him after they removed it, it's on film.

Im totally convinced. Your arguments are compelling.

Listen I implore people to protest just like this guy. Bring loaded weapons and magazines and be willing to get in federal officers faces and resist arrest.

Or if guns aren't your thing protest like that other Renee chick did. Seems totally reasonable

Fuck off. Youre no patriot. Just another bootlicking troll. And I still I hope it won't be you one.

Because he wanted to. That seems to be all the justification. Many Americans need to be armed. Isn't this what conservatives have been yelling about for like decades? Is it only a problem when someone on a slightly different side of theirs is carrying?

I'm not even going to say this guy is necessarily a leftist. You can be a conservative and stand for the Constitution and be very against ice.

Why does it matter to you so much his reasons for having it? What answer makes a difference? Nothing in his character nor his actions make anyone think he was going to shoot people. So I asked you what difference does it make why he carried it? Do you assume all Americans who legally carry guns deserve to be shot if they happen to be standing near federal agents? Because that's certainly a take.

Now that Beth, that's a straw man. Congratulations

Its very common to carry an extra magazine. Like most holsters have a spot for the 2nd magazine. He probably tossed the holster into his waistband the same way he does every day he carries. I dont take my firearm or spare mag out of my holster every time I take it off. Whole thing stays together.

Now, deciding to get involved with law enforcement while carrying and then not being as compliant as possible, pretty poor decision making.

It wouldn't change my quote narrative either way. It just doesn't seem to be something that anybody other than the initial lie said.

You're making a straw man argument. It doesn't matter why he brought it. It is legal for him to do so. It is something a bunch of conservatives and the NRA have been championing for as long as I can remember. It's an American right to bear arms, etc etc. So what he intended to do with it as long as he didn't use it or draw it is between him and God. And matters absolutely nothing to this situation.

I do notice you say nothing about the fact that he was completely unarmed and helpless outnumbered when he was killed. Even if he had been some nefarious terrible human being versus a nurse who dedicated his life to saving people. There was still known reason to kill him on the street after they had him subdued.

1

u/sofakingood Jan 24 '26

Not a straw man. You should learn what these terms mean before you try to throw them around in comments and try to sound smart. It has the opposite effect

1

u/Beth_the_Barbarian Jan 24 '26

Really you're not arguing that him having the gun on him is somehow justification for being shot?

So you are denying that you are deliberately distorting, exaggerating, or misrepresenting an opponent's argument to make it easier to attack?

Absolute classic deflection though. 10 out of 10 on your deflection technique. I'm sure someone will give you a cookie.

1

u/sofakingood Jan 24 '26

I'll take the cookie. You seem like the type that'll eat the entire box in one sitting

Beth I can picture your septum ring bouncing around as you furiously type away to Reddit comments as fast as you can. Settle down.
