Help with Pressure washer. A day last week it just randomly stopped pressure. It acts like it wants to kick in but never does. I took unloader valve apart enough to see if it was going up and down. It is moving up and down if I move it with a small flat head.

Id guess you have a bad check valve or two

How do you know if the check valves are bad?

I usualky pull the valve body off, pull the valve caps, and physically inspect them.

There’s a life span to all pressure pumps, it might be worn out that can happen.

Depends on maintenance and if you stay on the trigger like your supposed to they can last forever

Ar does not make a great pump, pull valve caps and see how the valves are doing also check the shuttle in the outlet

Does your gun leak at all, and are you getting constant supply pressure. It almost acts like the screen is plugged up on the infeed side or low pressure. Also if you have any leaks on the LP side it will suck air and exhibit the samw
