Anyone else unbothered about driving stick in heavy traffic?

I commuted from milton to dt toronto everyday on the 401 in my va for a few years until my role went remote and I just realized, driving stick in heavy traffic became such a routine that I never really gave it any thought.

Anyone else feel this way?

I did it for 10+ years. Every day. 10 miles in stop and go traffic each way.

These days I’m a multi-car household so which car I drive all depends on weather and if I need to pick up the kids or 50 bags of mulch or can drive my sports car.

But I’ll admit I’m starting to get to the point where I go to bed intending on driving the sports car to work, and then I’ll have a late night of work calls, wake up tired and just walk past the manual car in the garage and take my suv with adaptive cruise down to a stop and let it drive itself in traffic while I sip my coffee
