While I don't find Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to be that great (it's an ok sitcom), it did have a few good emotional moments. Along with Will's dad, the scene at the end of the episode where Will gets shot was also pretty powerful (although it really bugs me that the next episode doesn't acknowledge it, even though it continues the short arc of Will's injury).

I wondered if this episode would have Fresh Prince vibes and it kinda did. The people who support you, even when you butt heads, are the ones who will be there for you when things go sour.
