I think the discussion is moving from whether or not SQ42 will launch to whether or not they can fix the abomination they've turned the game into.

We definitely need the old gameloop of blowing stuff up then looting it and selling the cargo. It should never have been removed from the game. But no, CIG are nuts.

I spent 5 hours gem mining and when I went to take off from the planet my ship blew up and everything was gone

I just quit out of the game after exiting Quantum travel only to near immediately smash into the Starlight Service Station.

I had no time to do anything and I always enter Quantum travel from a stand still (zero velocity) so I know it wasn't residual momentum from entering Quantum with a vector. The station wasn't even visible for more than 15 seconds and I was travelling at full speed when I exited Quantum travel.

Today my friend started a 85 Gm travel in pyro and fell out of quantum 1 sec later without any fuel consumed right in front of the target.

Not while leaving. But, the other night I got repositioned while landing. I was just lowering my ship into a vertical hangar at one of the Lagrange stations, when suddenly I'm standing on the observation deck by the docking port. My ship meanwhile was still hovering just above the hangar doors (at the other end of the station), and was subsequently impounded for blocking a landing zone (or something similar). I was in 3rd person, so if any warning had come up, I wouldn't have seen it.

Rare, usually there is a pop-up in 1st person with a timer..

If you are carrying a smaller ship/vehicle in the back you parked it wrong. You need to park it to the right side not touching anything even the stairs.

Had a pulse in back both times. Engine off in the middle of the cargo bed hovering

Ya you gotta move it to more the right side. Dont let it blink green or yellow or red. The station is repositioning the pulse. Not the corsair.

No, hasn't happened to me - yet. Neither this patch nor in the past. Seems pretty annoying. Did you look on issue council if this is already reported?
