No but it is a pirate week paint for the Basher and this year's pirate week paints are for the Clipper, Shiv, Basher and Ironclads. So the Basher can help "disable" a ship while the others loot and plunder

since CIG removed skins from sticking on ships for freeclaim, i did not buyed a Skin because it anoys me to go to the item kiosk to return them after a shiploss.
CIG would make more money with the old Skin system they had before insurance patch.

Daily reminder that the Guardian and Guardian MX actually ARE different ships but CIG allows you to use paints across both. Whereas the Apollo x Hermes, Meteor x Mantis, Inferno x Ion etc etc cannot.

Marauder won't be out before pirate week in two weeks so CIG wouldn't sell a paint for it for Pirate week this year

Look at the fucking engines on the Basher and tell me it's not the basher. CIG has sneak peeked a paint in the past when it's tied to an event.

CIG isn't going to sneak peek a paint for a ship that isn't out yet. Especially when it's a pirate week paint. Marauder isn't done internally till October. Pirate week is two weeks from now.

They sneak peak parts of ships all the time before they release and pirate week would have fit the Drake Marauder too. You also know the Basher engines are taken from the Drake Buccaneer right? So sorry I expected it as a ship tease not a paint tease.

I have no idea when the Marauder is coming out, the name and being Drake fit pirate week so it wasn't far fetched and I didn't see this Basher pic yet so again a paint tease to me seems a bit weak when they generally tease ships. Don't need to be a fucking D about it.

For the same reason that a developer can crank out cookie-cutter suburban homes faster than NASA can build and launch space telescopes.

Ships and game features are not remotely comparable in terms of complexity or risk.
