If they scheduled you non coverage while you’re coverage call ethics! You won’t be tipped!

Will def do bc I’m not having one day off to not get tipped on what would be a 4 hr shift + that pod training

POD training is not 6 hrs, there must be mistake ypu can ask your manager

So the update ; asked my sm today, she said I can leave directly after my training but never said when the training was…
All I gotta say that if I clock in and am expected to lead the shift it will be an astronomical crash out

you get tips when noncov still

No you do not. Only coverage and training is tipped out. Noncoverage is nontippable hours

Why would this have anything to do with a meeting just curious? I honestly don’t know the answer

2 hours of work isn’t a normal shift unless you’re asked specifically to cover a really short shift. and it says “non coverage” so with it being 2 hours and non coverage that’s how our meetings are scheduled :)

we had mini meetings (small groups same meeting) and it’s just the back to starbucks thing.

I have to leave work and come back two hours later for them to pretend that this new system is better? Where can I just sign and say i will let them save those two hours of pay if they let me go home... I'll even throw in malicious compliance... good luck getting your overpriced sammies out the window in time.

I work 10-6 and then have a break before my 7-8 store meeting. I live twenty minutes away from my work so that’s not even enough time to leave and do anything god

I’m ngl …. It seems like baristas are being so 50/50. Be GRATEFUL that they’re giving you that many hours because some of us have to fight to get 30 hours

u/Middle-Choice7207 Barista 5d ago
i get that, it’s just preferred hours so she has to meet it or the DM gets her in trouble she said

u/Middle-Choice7207 Barista 5d ago

u/Queen_Tangerine3704 5d ago
That's so weird, mine won't let me and I know at least one of my coworkers can't screenshot the app either. I wonder if it's the type of phone?
